Big — A fantasy/comedy about a boy who makes a wish to be Big. He becomes an adult and shows everyone what parts of life should still be seen through a child’s eyes. Tom Hanks plays the role beautifully. A very endearing film.

Running Scared — Another cop buddy movie. Hines and Crystal are so good together. After a Key West vacation has the duo thinking about quitting the force and opening a bar in paradise. They come back home to Chicago to take down a drug dealer before calling it a career.

Braveheart — Semi biographical account of William Wallace. The Scottish warrior tries to lead his countrymen against occupying England. Great speech. But they’ll never take our freedom!

Usual Suspects — Neo-noir, thriller, mystery, and clever who done it film. Narrated by the sole survivor who spins a wild tale of events that lead to a climatic, vicious gun battle on a boat.

Young Guns — A Western classic. I can watch both over and over. A group of rag-tag “regulators” led by legendary Billy The Kid. They take the law into their own hands to avenge the murder of their caretaker. “I’ll make you famous”

Hunger Games — A dystopian adventure film about class warfare. Every year 1 boy…
